Feb 17, 2026 Cannabis Lobby Day at the Virginia General Assembly

2026 Cannabis Lobby Day at the Virginia General Assembly – Round Two

Following a strong and inspiring turnout at our January Lobby Day, Virginians for Safer Cannabis is heading back to the Virginia General Assembly for another day of citizen advocacy on February 17, 2026.

This full-day event brings together Virginians from across the Commonwealth to engage directly with lawmakers and continue supporting the development of a safe, responsible, and well-regulated cannabis framework in Virginia.

Event Details:

Date: February 17, 2026
Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Virginia General Assembly Building
Address: 201 N. 9th Street, Richmond, VA
Entrance: Public Entrance at 9th & Broad Streets

Participants will gather in the General Assembly Building for morning briefings, advocacy preparation, and opportunities to connect with fellow community members. Throughout the day, attendees will meet with legislators to share perspectives, experiences, and priorities around cannabis policy, public health, and youth protections.

Our January event showed just how powerful community voices can be. This February, we’re building on that momentum to make sure decision-makers continue hearing from the people most impacted by these policies.

Whether you are new to advocacy or an experienced organizer, your participation helps ensure that Virginia’s cannabis policies reflect public health, safety, and community values.
