Virginia’s Cannabis Laws Are Taking Shape — Be Part of the Conversation

With Virginia’s Cannabis Industry moving forward at a rapid pace, now is the time to unite.

We are building statewide, parent-focused, voter-driven “Cops on the Beat” types of local coalitions to help shape and keep watch over this new industry. Our goal: to protect Virginia’s youth while ensuring responsible laws and practices as the Cannabis Industry takes root in the Commonwealth.

The most powerful change comes from passionate people — parents, community leaders, and voters — who speak up.

Your state Senator and House of Delegates member are your direct line to influence cannabis legislation. In early 2026, they will decide how Virginia’s Cannabis Industry will operate.

A SAFER VIRGINA BEGINS WITH YOU!

Take Action and Join Our Efforts TODAY:

2. Build Local Coalitions

Begin forming and mobilizing local coalitions of family members, neighbors, church members, and others who want to get involved. These groups will play an active role in the months leading up to AND during the 2026 Virginia General Assembly session, when cannabis laws are expected to be made final.

3. Contact Your Virginia Legislator

Find the contact information for your Virginia legislator by clicking the button below. Once you have it, take a picture or screenshot with your cell phone so it’s easy to access whenever you need it.

When you contact your legislator, keep in mind five things:

  • The SQUEAKY Wheel(s) ALWAYS Gets The Grease
  • These people are politicians who were elected by YOU and other voters in your area
  • As the young folk say – DON’T GET IT TWISTED – their job is to SERVE YOU and other voters in your area
  • They and their staff are PAID WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS to serve your needs and to answer your questions
  • Their goal – In Getting Re-elected – is yielding to the well-organized issues and concerns about which you advocate

4. Organize Town Hall Meetings

Start considering how you can help arrange local Town Hall Meetings in your area. These meetings will give you and your community a strong voice to ensure that future cannabis laws fully protect children, families, and neighborhoods.

  • Your local group’s role: Provide a meeting location and rally people to attend

  • Our role: One of our Specialized Teams will come to your area, lead the meeting, and answer all of the group’s questions about forming Virginia’s Cannabis Industry

Primary Goal: Families and voters across Virginia should have a direct voice during the 2026 General Assembly in shaping well-regulated cannabis laws.
